Base puts the foot close to the flyers hip. Flyer starts with bending the hips and bringing the upper body over the base thinking about cartwheeling in. It often helps for the flyer to iage bringing the ear to the bases belly bottom. The base bends the leg a bit to make it easier for the flyer to bring weight on that side. Bases and flyers should give resitance in the hands to slow down the movement. The base place the second foot on the free hip.
Bases be careful that you legs stay aligened over your hips and don't come to much over your chest.
